For many years I have been in Love with trains. Growing up as a child in Delaware, we lived only several feet from the railroad tracks. It was a great Joy to me every time a train ran through . Growing up every one told me trains were for boys. Girls should play with dolls. Well, a few years have passed since then, and I still Love trains. Now I want to collect, and have my own trains. I have bought HO scale buildings. Have started the process of making a town. I am very excited!! This is a hobby I have always wanted, and now I can actually do it. Ok, enough chit chat. The question is. What HO scale train should I buy? I have looked at so many. Many brands. I need advice from people that are experienced. Who know first hand. I have been looking at different tracks, as well as different train pieces. Also complete sets. I do not know where to start. Please help. I need your advice!!
Thank you so much, Amber

I'm in a similar boat. Too many brands of HO without a reliable method of rating the quality of the manufacturer's sets. Does it necessarily follow that more costly is automatically better quality and less costly is junk? Does anyone know of a website that has user feedback for their experiences? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I'm the Zoe, a girl like action movie with cars. lol I'm the beginner in HO scale model railroad. And I'm so glad I met a few model railroaders. Today I just got a video from a Canada friend, Glenn. He just bought a DCC decoder, LC102 from ANE. Please see the following video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBwAlZZVPSs Although it's not so good that he even clean his track. As for the details, please see at www.anemodel.com/product.html#ecwid:category=1299326&mode=product&product=5325478 But I use LC101 in my locos. Cause I have DCC ready plug on my locos, and it's good and easy to install as a beginner. Much of fun with it. Maybe you can try it !
